In line with the purpose of the Society, the MSS is pleased to announce that the MSS Educational Award is available to the members of MSS in striving to achieve development and progress in spine surgery through free paper presentations.
Members with accepted for oral presentation or poster/ e-poster presentation are invited to apply for the award to attend recognized scientific meeting and congress / conferences :-

Terms and Conditions & Guidelines for Application
- The applicant must be a “Life Member” or an “Active Member” of MSS.
- The applicant shall only receive the award once a year. Successful award recipients can apply for the award in the subsequent year.
- Application can be made by MSS members whose abstracts are accepted for oral presentation or poster/e-poster presentation in recognized local or international conferences or congresses.
- Invited speakers/moderators/judges are not allowed to apply for the award.
- Successful applicants shall provide proof of abstract acceptance and conference/congress registration. Failure of the recipients to present their accepted abstracts and to participate fully in the said event will result in the recipient being requested to return the awarded cash price.
- Upon the completion of the event, it is compulsory for recipients to submit a report to MSS.
- The applicants are responsible for making their own travel and lodging arrangements.
- The applicants will be responsible for his/her safety, health, and well-being during the duration of the conference/congress.
- Application should be submitted as soon as acceptance is received or at least 1.5 month before the conference / congress, whichever is earlier.
- Applications will be reviewed by the MSS Executive Committee. The decision made by the Executive Committee is final.
